My Audio Setup - Personal Gaming

Some people like to play game with speakers (surround sound, etc.) but I prefer to have headphones on. It does get uncomfortable after a few hours of gaming but I usually take enough breaks that it doesn't affect me too much. I prefer headphones and headsets over speakers since it allows be to hear more especially if I play First Person Shooter games and need to hear foot steps.

So here is a question for you:

1) Which do you prefer?: Headset /headphones or Speakers
2) What is your setup? (Brand, etc.)

  1. I also have a pair of marshmallows and they're the greatest headphones I've ever bought under 20 bucks. If I was to suggest any of those headphones I'd tell you to get the pro dj styled with dynamic bass. Nothing like having noise canceling cups with a rumble inside them :)

  12. I prefer headphones, but I usually just end up using speakers when playing on my TV. The PC is the only headphone-playing time I get.

  35. The first Sennheiser you posted is one that I had at one point in time that I wasn't very satisfied with, though other headphones by that brand is usually good. I just didn't like that one. Then again, this is just for music listening.

Personally, I prefer a pair called the Koss Portapro. They are AMAZING.
